Why IAME

It is a fact that the entry of our youth into certain management institutes is usually very difficult. By being restrictive, the premier’ B-schools are able to claim an elitist status for their alumni. Some other privately-run and established institutes of management have fee structures that make an average young man or woman hesitate even to apply. These factors have led to an auto–reservation of management degrees only for the fortunate few. In contrast, you can see that India Inc is positioned to reach for the skies.

Basic education has risen in the country, and so has the potential to earn better life-styles. The market is rapidly expanding. Our young people are also exceptionally talented and raring to prove their intelligence in every field. But we need more managers, more entrepreneurs, and more leaders to take our present generation forward into the national and international markets. This is where IAME comes into the picture.

IAME is the need of the hour. The founders of this academy have foreseen the immense potential of bringing together youth from diverse fields and providing them with a rigorous management curriculum that has so far been denied to them. The obvious outcome of this opportunity will be an increase in the pass-outs’ entry level salaries, promotions, and a concomitant rise of their self-esteem and contribution to the GDP.

Whether a person comes with executive level experience from the cities or comes from the suburbs and villages with no experience, IAME is the right place for them. Our recognition of capability in each and our intention of giving opportunity to each according to their merit will ensure that we create more management graduates and a greater number of work opportunities.

IAME will also make a difference in equipping its students with all aspects of soft skills that win friends and influence people through management and expertise. Such emphasis is essential and validated by well-documented studies from Harvard and Stanford research institutes.

They confirm that technical skills and knowledge contribute to only 15 % of your success. The rest depends on how you interact with people inside and outside your professional life.

Most employers want to hire people with enviable soft skills. Retention and promotion depend chiefly on them. That is why IAME sets apart a day a week to hone communication skills, to interact with industry leaders and for guest lectures and art programs. We have a faculty designated solely for this.

Technical skills are of course essential. To take care of that, we use the most modern teaching methods that include lectures, seminars, group discussions, case studies, role plays and business games, field visits and N.G.O. participation (Trans Indus Foundation, Fireflies and Art of Living). To further strengthen our management program, opportunities are provided to engage in guided research by utilizing our world class library and computer center.

We have our own pedagogical model CREST, which is unique in its content and methodology for knowledge transfer.

At the end of the course you need not loose sleep over your career. Leave that worry to our dedicated placement cell which will ensure that you are suitably recruited.
